Can anyone recommend a restaurant or restaurants in or near Boston (Cambridge, Brookline, etc.) where parking is easy, good atmosphere for lots of conversation, great food?

Gaslight in the Southend. It's normally impossible to park in that area, but there's a FREE lot next door, makes this suburbanite happy :) http://www.gaslight560.com

Gaslight was my first thought too - close to the airport too.
So I just found out that Dom's restaurant in the North End is closed (and it has been for a while). What other place would you recommend? Got a birthday dinner coming in June.

A new discovery of mine in the So. End. Love it! And...FREE parking. http://www.gaslight560.com/
Restaurant Suggestions? - Looking for a very nice restaurant for my wife's birthday Hi Boston! I used to be young and hip and know all the cool restaurants and hot chefs but I've been a boring old dad in the suburbs for a while now. Can anyone suggest a nice restaurant for my wife's upcoming 40th birthday? Something nice but not any of the old standards. We went to all of those back when we were young. What are some new, trendy, nice restaurants?

I've been going to Gaslight Brasserie for the past 4 years for any anniversaries, birthdays, etc. French food, with an American twist so it's not too intimidating for the general public. http://www.gaslight560.com/
