The story of Scott McLendon’s Hardware begins and continues with customer service.
Scott McLendon was born into the hardware industry, working at McLendon Hardware since he was 8 years old. He learned his strong work ethic from his family, and also that customer service always comes first.
In January of 1995, Scott McLendon’s Hardware opened for the very first time in Port Orchard, Washington. Starting out with only 5 employees, it only took a matter of a few years before we grew enough to move to a larger facility and hire more people to meet your day-to-day project needs. After much success in providing Kitsap County with a local- and family-operated alternative for their home improvement needs, the decision was made to open a second location in Belfair, Washington in March of 2000.
Scott McLendon’s Hardware has now been in business for almost 20 years--operating in two locations, with over 60,000 combined square feet of retail space, and nearly 70 employees. And our goal today is the same one that first captivated Scott so long ago: to provide our customers and community with great customer service. That customer service is expressed in many ways:
• helpful, knowledgeable employees • a wide selection of the project materials you need, and at • consistently low prices
We want you to walk out of our stores feeling confident and ready to start and finish your projects. Let us exceed your expectations every time!
Looking for the ‘hidden gem locations’ to buy a LOT of grass seed on the cheap.
I’ve looked at Home Depot, Lowe’s, Tractor Supply and Wilco.
Any recommendations?

Anyone know a good grill I should buy. Preferably propane but was also wondering about the hybrids. Looking around the 300~600 dollar price range.
Jennifer C. replied:
Traeger or Big Green Egg are two of the best grills I have ever encountered and we stock a variety of both at https://www.facebook.com/311025872434985 Scott McLendon's Hardware in Port Orchard. We also have a fairly wide selection of Weber too. Right now we are offering 10% off on Big Green Egg with our website offer. Please feel free to stop by the store and check our inventory out.
We don't have plush, but we have some fun sticker activity books and character erasers at a huge discount down at https://www.facebook.com/311025872434985 Scott McLendon's Hardware :)
Good Morning PO! Does anyone know the super nice ladies that sell the Damsel in Distress products? I've seen them at the Farmer's Market and other festivals in PO before. TIA.
Catherine A. replied:
It's not the same brand, but https://www.facebook.com/311025872434985 Scott McLendon's Hardware has some self defense sprays in front of register 1. And you can also buy damsel online (Google their website)
