  Is there anyone that does roof repair? I bought a house 14 years ago that had a prior leak (through the chimney flue - no chase), and I presume that it was repaired then, but now the flue is leaking again. I can see water flowing down the flue in the attic. I also see wet sheathing near the eave. I got a new roof in 2015 and I can see that is was not flashed properly on the downslope and the roofer says he didnt replace flashing and is not responsible....yet he charged me $500 specifically for flashing on my receipt. Just need someone honest to help me. There is sealant on the outside of the chimney flue so I am assuming that is where the water is reentering...or maybe the flashing that was "not replaced". Anybody?
