About us
When I was a little boy, I used to ride the bus everyday from school (first grade) to my moms music store, which was the original Virginia's Music Center. I spent 6 days a week growing up in that place. When I was in 7th grade, my brother Jeff Ernest, who was the guitar teacher there, started letting me help out with his lessons. Not long after, I had my own students, and have been teaching ever since. I may not be a great "business man" or a whiz in the retail world (have done my fair share of management and retail sales in music stores) but I do know how to do one thing, and that is to teach music! That's the focus of Virginia's Music Center. To educate both young and old on the joy of music!! ( lol, besides, I have people working for me that are WAY more qualified at running businesses and accounting and such..that way I can focus on teaching!! :) ) So as you can probably figure from all of this is that this is my life's passion, calling, and reason for breathing!!! I will do my very very best to make Virginia's Music Center the best environment and the most fun place in Nashville to learn and hone your music skills, as well as being a killer place to stop and shop of all your musical wants, needs and desires!!!
