Any knee surgeon recommendations in North Austin/Cedar Park/Round Rock? Hey Guys!
Dislocated my knee a few weekends ago and partially tore two ligaments in my knee. I could go to therapy or get surgery (leaning towards surgery since I'm young and don't want to deal with this later in my life).
Anyone have any recommendations for surgeons? I live in Cedar Park but am willing to drive for a high recommendation :D

Dr. McDonald at [Texas Orthopedics](http://www.txortho.com).
Do any of my friends have good recommendations for an Orthopedist?

This is where I went: http://www.yelp.com/biz/texas-orthopedics-sports-and-rehabilitation-associates-austin-3 - http://www.txortho.com/ . I saw Dr. Blais.
Looking for a doctor to do a knee replacement. A month ago,you guys gave me great advice about an ENT doctor. Now I need to pick your brains again.
My sister needs to have a knee replacement, and I'm trying to hunt down a good doctor in Austin to do the work. My sister lives in Louisiana, so I will need to do the initial consults.
I'm looking for somebody who can do work on a knee that has massive scarring from three previous surgeries.
The surgeon needs to have a very gentle demeanor. My sister has PTSD after some truly horrible surgical experiences. She needs a surgeon who can work with her to get past this fear.
Please let me know who you recommend, or who you don't recommend. Thanks!

I had an ACL replacement (among other things) with Texas Orthopedics http://www.txortho.com. I highly recommend them. My doctor was Dr. Peter Garcia, he and his staff were extremely nice. I've also found the staff at the Scott & White Hospital up in Round Rock to be really friendly also (that was for wrist work). Hope this gives you some leads.
