About us
LoveLight Photography By Sarina is owned and operated by one female photographer who focuses on creating images that capture once in a lifetime moments with love and perfect light. The timeless quality in my photography is priceless and results in imagery that my clients cherish for generations to come. I can create a visual narrative, personal documentary of special moments through beautiful, candid and natural photographs shot in beautiful New Mexico landscapes.
The best thing about working for myself is the freedom to set my own hours and therefore be able to be the present mother I want to be to my 2 boys. It’s so important for me to be there for them at dinner, to help them with homework, and spend some time outside playing with them. Children grow up in the blink of an eye and I only have this time now with them as children.
I started my photography business after obtaining my Bachelor in Social Work at New Mexico State University, Owning and Operating The Sweet Swap, a gently used clothing store in Las Cruces, NM and completing one year of my Master's Degree in Education. I pursued my degrees in Social Work and Education because I am passionate about helping people and teaching people how to better themselves. However, my time in owning a retail shop allowed me a creative outlet to express art through window displays and helping to style people and I found passion in that service as well. I also realized I had an artful eye. That combined with the fact that I have been documenting my entire life and the lives of my children visually through photography for years led me to pursue photography professionally. I now have been a professional photographer since 2011 and have had many wonderful and fulfilling experiences through my loyal client base as well as professional relationships and charity organizations and events.
