  Friends I want to give you a tip. Anyone who is buying medication for their pet might want to hear this one. My cat has an ailment that requires daily medication. I went ahead and bought the big bottle from my vet who put a prescription sticker over the pharmacy's bottle. I usually pay $122.67 for this prescription from the vet. When I called the pharmacy they said I would need the doctor's referral and so I did that. Guess what the price now is? $28.50. The name of the pharmacy is Wedgewood Pharmacy and the number is 800-331-8272.

  HealthWarehouse.com is a mail order discount pharmacy for people and pets. I take a medicine that isn't covered by insurance and get it ridiculously cheap here.

  "I'm curious to know others' takes on keeping a Glucagon injection handy. I was encouraged by my endocrinologist to purchase one for emergency situations, but told by a nutritionist who specializes in Diabetes that they're very expensive (I'm looking at 200 with my insurance) and expire in a years time, and that honey packets squirted into my mouth would be equally effective. With all of my new medical expenses, I'd love to opt out on a 200$ purchase! But ultimately, I want to be well prepared and taken care of.
