Looking for an optometrist/opthamologist Are there any fellow redditors who share my bad vision? I have -11.45 in my left eye and -12.25 in my right. I'm pretty much stuck with hard contacts, since glasses are too thick for my taste and I've been told that soft lenses won't be able to correct my vision enough to be satisfactory.
I'm looking for a recommendation for an eye doctor. I have been to Dr. Sameer Khan, on a recommendation from my GP, but was wholly unsatisfied. I had to go back six times because they kept getting my lenses wrong.
Do any of you have recommendations for an eye doctor that specializes in (or at least commonly deals with) hard contacts or people with really bad eyes, such as myself? Thanks!
(VSP insurance is a plus)

My favorite in the last 5 years has been Hour Eyes Optical on Broadway in Cap Hill. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. http://www.houreyesseattle.com/
