Funk, Soul, Pop and Motown
Not your average cheesy function outfit, The Supers are a superb, five-piece Funk, Soul, Pop and Motown band, who cover hit classics to a high standard and with a twist! Their repertoire is a cut above the rest, with medleys, and unusual bootlegs of your favourite songs, such as Ghostbusters, Do Your Thing, and Groove Is In the Heart, along with all the classics, like Aretha Franklin, Jackson 5 and Stevie Wonder numbers. Whatever songs you choose, The Supers will ensure to keep your guests dancing all night!
This group of exceptional professional musicians have played or collaborated with some big names including Malachai, Kasabian, Super Furry Animals, Noel Gallagher, Kelis, Raphael, Saadiq, KT Tunstall, Tom Jones, Zane Low, Giles Peterson, Jools Holland, Pee Wee Ellis, Jean Toussaint, Marcella Detroit, Carleen Anderson, Lee Ryan, Herbal T, Wax, Nigel Kennedy, Lack Of Afro, U2, Craig Charles, The Haggis Horns, and Hans Zimmer to name a few! Most of the musicians are artists in their own right and between them have toured all over the world working on some stunning projects with world class talent. ‘The Supers’ Jazz musicians perform a range of Jazz, Swing, Soul, Gatsby and Jive, through the ages, including upbeat swingers to get the party going and stunning ballads that will blow your guests away. Whether you're after glitzy glam twenties and Gatsby music, or traditional 40s and war time songs, we have traditional shows with appropriate costume perfect for any party. Our sophisticated vocals and piano duo can perform your favourite songs during your wedding ceremony, or enhance the mood of that important dinner, or why not have the Gatsby quartet or quintet to impress your guests with traditional twenties classics for a Christmas party.
