Therapy/psychiatry for someone with low income/no insurance Looking for an office that offeres *affordable counseling/therapy and psychiatric services to individuals with low/no income and no insurance*. I'm technically a Santa Fe student, but I'm taking this semester off due to mental health issues, and their services aren't avaliable to me unless I'm taking a class. Real catch 22..
I've heard way too many bad things about Meridian, I think I'm better off avoiding them. They seem keen on bakeracting a lot of patients and that's not what I need.
Anyone know of anything in town? Has anyone been to Sarkis Family Psychiatry? Any advice is would be greatly appreciated.

If worse comes to worse, call [Meridian](http://www.mbhci.org/). I wasn't too impressed after they made me wait three months for an phone intake interview, then told me I had to go to Starke for intake because I had Medicare. I don't have a car, and had no way to get to Starke, but they just said they were sorry and hung up on me. If you have no insurance, it may be different.

I am "coparenting" with a narcissistic male who is trying to keep my two children from me out of spite. He is no longer allowing communication via telephone as he is court ordered to between the children and I during his "visits". They come home acting out violently and confused. I've been documenting everything. He's an alcoholic and there is a history of domestic violence and he has five other children that he has no custody or rights to. He was supposed to have gotten an evaluation for substance abuse within 60 days of custody but never went. Does anyone know of an amazing children's psychologist or therapist that can help in these areas and who may go to court on my children's behalf? I have an active restraining order and need to keep my 2 and 3 year old daughters safe as well. Thank you kindly to everyone in advance!
