About us
Opened in July 2011, Baggot Street Wines is 100% Irish, and proud to be your local, independent wine, beer and whiskey specialist. Our passionate staff have over 15 years experience in the European wine industry and have been known to enjoy the odd glass or two. Also well accustomed to the pleasure of a tasty beer, we are delighted to have been awarded the title of 'National Beer Specialist of the Year' for two consecutive years, both 2013 and 2014, in the National Off Licence of the Year Awards. We are also proud to have been awarded their 'Certificates of Excellence' for the same years and most recently in January 2015. We truly do strive to give the best customer service and were acknowledged as doing so in the 'Best Service' category of this year's long-list in the Irish Times' hunt for the 'Best Shops in Ireland'.
