About us
What is a Puka Dog™? Well, first off, "puka" (pronounced poo-kah) means "hole" in Hawaiian!
With our special recipe, we bake a bun-sized loaf of soft-baked bread, pierce a “puka” into one end, and toast it on the inside. We then pour in your choice of our secret, Hawaiian relishes, sauces, or standard condiments.
Finally, we slide in either a perfectly grilled, premium Polish sausage made from a proprietary combination of high-quality, prime meats, or a succulent, non-GMO veggie dog. Both choices are highly compatible with any of our Garlic Lemon Secret Sauces (Mild, Spicy, Hot, or Lava), and our six Tropical Relishes (Mango, Pineapple, Papaya, Coconut, Banana, or Starfruit). For extra flavor, top it all of with some Hawaiian lilikoi (passion fruit) mustard!
