Price gouging and broke things. I have used Jeff a few times and previously found him to be fair and quick at fixing things. I have recommended him far and wide. However, after my last experience, I will never use him or recommend him again. He couldn't fix my clog, he called out two guys with better equipment, etc. and he gouged both me and them. They were here for 2 hours doing the messiest, nastiest work and he wasn't here for any of it. He charged me 3X for his time what he charged for their time (he was there before they came and after but he didn't actually accomplish anything besides not fix my clog and replace a faucet that he broke). He charged me for time he wasn't even at my house. He broke my faucet which wasn't at all part of the scope of the project and he didn't even have permission to touch it. He was trying to help with the faucet, and I actually ran right out and bought a new one and was willing to chalk it up to accidents happen until I felt so completely and unfairly gouged by his pricing. I gave him 3 stars because out of 4 visits this was the only bad one but it was SO bad.
Can anyone reccommend a trustworthy plumber in salt lake area? I have a burst pipe in bathroom.... love a referral if anyone can help. I am on the road back to slc from new mexico. Thanks
