You might be wondering what Meraki means right? Well Meraki is a Greek word which means doing something with creativity, love and pure soul. It is about leaving a little piece of yourself in your work. I find this word absolutely beautiful and deep because I believe that every time you interact with someone you leave a little bit of your soul with them and this is my philosophy towards my work.
I have always gravitated towards art and beauty from a very young age and since then I have been involved in every aspect of art and makeup was one of them. I look at skin like a blank canvas waiting for a story to be painted on it.
What I love most about beauty is how easy it is to bond with people through it. Ever notice the conversations you have with your makeup artist or friends when doing your makeup? Making friends is easier when lipstick is involved.
Whether you’re a makeup junkie or a newbie to makeup I find that beauty is about empowering and taking charge of how we want to be seen by the world. Make up lets me be a part of huge life changing moments.
I would love for you to join me as I embark upon this wonderful journey. Let me walk you through the wonderful world of makeup as I show you how amazing and powerful makeup can be. It’s more than just makeup, its art.
Since Meraki is still in its baby steps please bear with me till I work on more content. The website is not up yet but once it’s up and running you can expect blog posts from me where I will share my two cents on anything related to beauty.
