Any MaxFunsters have recommendations for things to do and eat in New Orleans?

So, Ira really covered it thoroughly. I would encourage you to get out of the French Quarter and hang out in some of the other neighborhoods, especially, as he mentioned, if you like cocktails, etc. WWOZ's livewire will have all the music listings, so just flip the radio to 90.7 when you get into town and at the top of every hour it will list all the shows. (It's also on their website, wwoz.org)
Can anyone recommend interesting things to do / see / experience in New Orleans?

Wwoz.org livewire tab lists everything going on. Get the app and listen live, they broadcast the list on the odd hour. Oh, and the Tulane U. archives. great source for jazz and rag info.
Does anyone know a EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD Dentist who will finance? I know there are a few out there
