Anyone recommend a stellar vet that doesn't charge Beverly Hills prices? North of Interbay and south of Shoreline preferred. 1 cat seems to have a cold, and the other seems to have a slightly swollen eye. Thinking a vet might be in order if things don't improve over a few days.

Uh, that seems steep. yeah. I took my oldest girl in when she was sick and it cost a bit, but wasn't too bad. these guys were great too, took a dog I had in there years ago for seizures, and they were great as well...http://www.cpcseattle.com/
We need to find a local vet for our dog, as our current vet has changed his practice. Looking for recommendations for someone who is good, preferably close to Montlake, and reasonable cost. Extra...
I suggest to all an alternative that is very close by for any Montlaker: very competitive prices, invites walk-ins ( no appts) and gets raves from everyone who checks out Companion Pet Clinic of Seattle, directly across from the PetCo on 45 th street, flanking the I-5 freeway northbound exit ( a cinch to get there!) It's a few steps west of the famous Blue Moon Tavern. They do a lot of work with local pet shelters. Compassionate care. Even has a small parking lot.
