  The wires in our (brand new) car were damaged by rodents (rats) last night. Has anyone else had a similar problem and can you recommend something to prevent it from happening again? We were told that dryer sheets repel rats and we are trying that but I'm open to any other suggestions. The good news is the $430.00 repair price quoted by the Toyota dealer turned out to only cost $117 when done by our very honest mechanic Mike at Saddleback Automotive in Lake Forest.
