  We had a tree fall last night into our backyard. It's not from our property. Can we contact someone to find out who owns the land behind us? Are they responsible for fixing our fence or do we need to do that? Any advice would be much appreciated!

  Paul sd that you can check this site to see who owns the property: kalcounty.com & look under Parcels Search and then you can look it up by the address/street that the property is on.
