This may sound silly but I need to know if anyone knows where to buy candy cigarettes, I'm putting a special 60th birthday basket for my hubbie, thanks for your help
Where could I go on the Peninsula to get Doctor Who party stuff? Suggestions please. Probably nowhere. Maybe I can at least find a Tardis blue tablecloth...
Fun things to do in Seattle
I was just wondering if anyone who lives in Seattle could tell us some cool things to do in the city? Good restaurants, outdoor stuff, shopping, etc? Anything to help sell seattle u to me :)

The Fremont Farmers Market is open year round, so that's a nice place to get some good food and check out the local vendors. There's this Thai restaurant in Madison Park called Thai Ginger. It's not too expensive and the service is awesome! Gasworks Park is a great place to have a picnic when it's not raining and hang out with your friends. If you go to Queen Anne, there are five coffee shops on the top of the hill within a one block radius of each other. No joke. A burger joint called Flame is near the coffeee shops and I highly recommend it. The food is delicious and you can draw pictures and they'll put it on the wall of the restaurant! If you're ever in Ballard (about 15 minutes from downtown), go to the Lockspot Cafe. BEST. FISH. AND, CHIPS. EVER. In Wallingford, there's this store called Archie McPhee's. They have the most random stuff, but it's so fun to look around and see what they have: http://www.archiemcpheeseattle.com/ Of course, how can I forget downtown Seattle? There's a ton of stuff to do, so I posted a link: http://www.downtownseattle.com/content/visitors/Shopping.cfm Luckily, Seattle U is smack in the center of everything so you can go out and explore! Hope this helps persuade you to come to Seattle U! :]

I love Pike Place market, of course. I love the brick streets. They have great shops there too. This may be weird, but I even like the fish smell. :P One of my favorite places to hang around is their newsstand. Archie McPhee. Oh my goodness. It is the best shop in Seattle. They have the kookiest toys and gifts that you are ever going to find all in one place. From bacon themed bandaids to plastic 80 s style hair wigs it is fabulous. It's located in Wallingford. Other place near there in a like minded is Not A Number and they have the coolest bumper stickers and other gifts. Great Drive In is Dick's Burgers. They have great burgers and great fries. I go there a lot. Along that same street there is this cool comic book shop. If anyone is interested in that. :) Some shopping boutique- y like places are located on Market Street in Ballard. My favorite store there is probably La Tienda (they have a lot of traditional mexican decoration pieces and boxes, which I love boxes), but they have a lot. It's a good walking window shopping street on a sunny day. And I'm sure someone mentioned Gas Works Park. Great place for a picnic! Book store. Third Place books in Lynnwood near Lake Forest Park is nice. They have a good selection of books and it's new and used so you can get good condition books for cheaper. You can also trade books in for store credit.
