  I am looking for recommendations. I need to replace my Potterton central heating system. The current system is an old fashioned one with an immersion heater in a cupboard, and an old attic asbestos water tank. I want to take out the old system (cap off the attic tank, as it's best not to touch asbestos), remove the immersion heater (which is leaking), and install a combi-boiler that can cope with a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom household. I also need to get the gas pipes re-run into the kitchen to the oven & central heating unit, as my last gas safety check highlighted that the ones under the floor are starting to leak. Does anyone have any idea what sort of cost I would be looking at to do that, and is there a good, reliable central heating engineer that could quote me for the work please?
