I am good at booking everything except flights bc I never do it. Any advice would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Check www.kayak.com and www.southwest.com Keep these in mind: Southwest gives 2 free checked bags per person, and free carry on All other airlines charge for checked baggage- $25-$40 per bag each way Some airlines are now charging for carry-on bags.... Spirit is one of those. My rule of thumb, I have to save a net of $100 pp to fly Spirit.

I find it majority of the time to use southwest.com and clicking on rental car or special. These options take u to two different places. Plug in your airport u picking up and dates. Then compare in a different browser window but keeping the first one open. Go to the car rental company directly. You will see southwest.com is better majority of the time. Booking in advance is usually more expensive. Use hotwire and check it weekly for now, then daily when you're within a month or two. Plus, always check with southwest.com, they fly in to Austin and always have deals going on. Right now they're doing $55 one-way fares. $110 roundtrip is pretty cheap

I don't have any tickets anyway right now : ( but jay is right credit card is great with us. If you get it right now and spend $2000 in the first 3 months you get 50,000 points and those go towards your companion pass points as well. You need 110,000 towards companion and someone can fly with you for a year for free! Get the premier card it's better. Southwest.com is the best place to get deals. I think we have a sale going on right now too. I'm not sure when it ends. Good luck!

I use Enterprise Rent-A-Car when I'm in town and got an intermediate size car 1/2 price last weekend. Not sure if that deal is available at airports, but you may have a shuttle to your motel and can have them pick you there. I've named my own price on Priceline and would get $120/night oceanfront rooms in VA Beach for $35-45/night. .

They give you a letter on the boarding pass... A's board first, then B's, last is C's... There is also another airlines called allegiant that goes from Niagara Falls to Orlando/Sanford.... Might be worthwhile to just check it out. I have never flown it, but know many people who do... It's nonstop and flies into smaller airports. We would love to see you when you come to Florida.... If you are going to be near us, you can stay in our guest apt.... The price is right!! Love you!!!

Travel agents don't really have access to any special deals any more on airfare that you can't find on the internet yourself (go to kayak as suggested above and then southwest.com and you will see pretty much what there is to see out there). I would wait a while to book (we are) because the best fares are usually in the window of 3-6 weeks before traveling.

Travel agents are just about absentee these days with websites like Expedia, Travelocity, Etc...or most of your airline websites have a vacations section on their website where you can book hotel & airfare together to save lots of $$$. I particularly use southwest.com myself & always very pleased. Main thing is make sure you have your passport up to date because I hear they are very behind!

im looking on Southwest.com and theyre mad cheap each way- additionally southwest doesnt have assigned seating so we wouldnt have to worry as much about everyone booking together- just everyone booking the same general flight. Flying out monday would be a little cheaper, instead of sunday.
