  Probate is generally straight forward, particularly if you are the only person listed in the will. http://www.washoecourts.com/index.cfm?page=procourtguidelines These are the instructions for probate. You will probably need to file the petition for probate and letters of testimentary. Generally, there are some self-help resources on line to help the "lay person" navigate the legal field. http://www.washoecourts.com/probate/PDF/FORM%20 of%20Instructions%20 for%20Personal%20Representative.pdf You will probably need to fill this form out too and submit it to the court. If you have questions, definitely try and get some sort of free consultation with a probate attorney. He should give you the "rundown" of the process.
