I am starting a complete overhaul project of my sloped backyard (retaining walls, steps, landscaping tree's and plants, patio, fire pits, sod, etc). I would like someone to take whats in my head (and whats on my napkin drawings), and put it into an actual design blueprint, thats to scale; with all the proper measurements. I am not looking for a designer to come up with ideas (I already know what I want to do), and I am not looking for a landscaper/hardscaper to do the actual project, for I will be doing most of it myself (with some help along the way when needed). This will be a long, slow, project for me that I am going to be break up into different sub-projects (like just the retainer wall this month, and the patio next month, etc). I just want a master plan, laid out on paper, before I get started (so I can get an idea of the proper materials needed, what it would actually look like, etc). Does anyone do this? How much?
