Can someone recommend a bulldog/ attorney who deals with construction contract disputes? We paid a contractor and his sub screwed up the job. He has agreed to repair the issue but has strung us along for months over issues with the sub, weather, materials, blah, blah, blah. Enough already! Help please?
Psyched about my property renovations. I have learned SO much in a year. Permits, Demo, Framing, Insulation, Drywall, Flooring, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC ---but what I love most....floor plans--making horrible spaces open & beautiful!

I can't say for sure - here's something from ncbar.org that says the lien agent is excluded from single-family home projects if it's a current residence. But I'm obviously not legal counsel. That reminds me that I need to ask for my lien waiver.
!!!!! HELP !!!!! Does anyone know a "small-business attorney" that they'd recommend to me?? Preferably someone who wouldn't charge me an arm and a leg to look over a document/contract (really soon)?
