About us
My name is Stephanie “Jean” Graston and I live in Pueblo, Colorado where I practice my love for photography. Southern Colorado has been home to me always, but I’ve been all over the US. I attended Brooks Institute of Photography as a jumping off point to becoming a fashion photographer. Anyone who knows me, I’m not a fashionista, but I do love the look of the advertising world’s take on fashion.
After about a year in school, I moved to New York City where I managed a Fashion Photography Studio. It’s there where I learned the in’s and outs of the photo industry. When I felt I had learned all I could, I changed direction and applied to work as a retoucher in a large production house in New York City, which housed accounts like Ralph Lauren, JC Penney, Tory Burch and others. I realized my passion laid in the editing room because I had a knack for retouching photos and have been growing that skill over the past decade. Being a professional photo retoucher is a proud mark on my resume as it’s a love that I will always be advancing as there are always new techniques and ways to edit a photograph.
