  A spay doesn’t cost $650. When I lived in Galveston county, we had [Animal Alliance ](https://www.animalalliancetx.org/) for low cost spays and vaccines. I used [VCA clinics ](https://vcahospitals.com/) a chain vet clinic that is very reasonable priced for any other vet visits. They have locations all around Houston and transfer my pets’ records easily between locations. Edit: a spay for a cat at Animal Alliance was $25, but you shouldn’t have to spend more than about $100 at any vet. Sorry for the updates.

  Animalalliancetx.org is in La Marque you can see their prices online. Vetco is the vaccination service every 2 weeks at PETCO stores - not PetsMart. Each Petco location has a different day/time they come to that store. Petvaccs.com goes to different locations in this area to offer discount vaccs. Go to the Events tab, and select Houston, to get their Houston-area schedule.
