  Not a trail question, but since this is such a large concentration of local runners I am hoping you can help. My husband ruptured his Achilles when he was getting our daughter out of our house during our fire. The doc not only reattached it, but had to lengthen the tendon. He's not going to push the running too quickly, but we could use some trainer suggestions of people who are experienced in rehabilitation of such a serious injury. Thanks for any help!

  Tiffany, on lvhn.org, you can actually ask questions on the Via Marathon page that rehab specialists will answer. The only catch is, they may repost the answer after getting back to you.
