About us
ABC Nursery School was established in 1968. It continues to offer its students a quality preschool experience. ABC offers a school year program which operates from September through May and generally follows the Chelmsford Public Schools calendar.
AIM: ABC will introduce the preschool child to being away from home while playing and working with other children in a group setting. We strive to give your children a positive preschool experience, where they can grow and develop socially and academically.
Play is a child’s work. We offer our children varied opportunities each day to play, learn, and work together. We have free play, outdoor play, gym activities, & quiet and creative play. We have our story time every day and music class weekly.
Programs Available:
Two days- Tuesday & Thursday mornings, afternoons, or full day (3 y.o.)
Three days- Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings, afternoons or full day (3 & 4 y.o.)
Five days- Monday through Friday, mornings, afternoons or full day (3 & 4 y.o.)
Note: For our program, a four year old child is any child who is eligible for Kindergarten the next school year. A three year old is any child not eligible for Kindergarten the next school year. A child must be 2 years and 9 months old by September to be eligible for any program.
Lunch Bunch: Children attending ABC are offered the opportunity t bring a lunch to school. Half day children would be picked up at 1:00 pm. Afternoon children would be dropped off at 12:00 pm and then proceed to their afternoon class at 1:00 pm.
Times: Our school hours are set to help accommodate the needs of our families. Early drop off is now available at 8:00 am. Morning classes will be 9:00 am-12:00 noon and afternoon classes are 1:00 pm- 4:00 pm. Full day hours are from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. We will continue with our lunch bunch program 5 days a week, available to both morning and afternoon students. Late pick up will also still be available.
