  Please recommend a dentist. So I’m gettin’ old, haven’t seen a dentist in far too long, and it’s probably time to start actually caring about my body. Like pretty much everyone else, I want to find someone with minimal pain, great skill, personal care, all that good stuff. I’ve searched a fair number on r/Portland and I’ve seen a lot of recommendations but the only one I really hear repeatedly (meaning “from two people”) is Burlingame Dental down on Barbur. My SO says she’s been there 15 years ago, but that was... 15 years ago, and the best she can say is “they were okay”. Anyone else got some useful, coherent input?

  [South Waterfront Dental](https://www.southwaterfrontdental.com/) has always been good to me. Like you, I hadn't been to the dentist in many years. Dr. Beck is very nice and friendly. They're open at weird hours, too, which is great if you work a mon-fri 9-5 job.
