  How about doing a dessert buffet? Try http://www.babycakesdesserts.com/. she's in Sunnyvale so you'd need to pick up, but if you want to go light, this is a great option. Also, Events of Excellece www.eventsofexcellence.com has a number of party items available -- some prepacked that you can pick up yourself. They're also in Sunnyvale. You can meet your budget and exceed people's expectations with these two. Don't know if you intended drinks in that budget, but EoE could offer a large punch container. Cheryl
