Where are your favorite places to buy fabric? I am looking for cotton fabrics for some different projects. Where do you like to shop that won’t break your wallet? I am open to both online and in store.
I don’t need more than 2 yards for any of the fabrics.

I also like fashionfabricsclub.com. but you have to dig a little. I've gotten really nice stuff at low prices, but I had to scroll past some hideous things to find stuff I liked. Use the filters if you know specifically what kind of fabric you want. Also, if you see something you want, get it. Once it's gone, it's gone. FREESHIP19 code will get you free shipping if you order more than$79 worth.
For anyone who has/does sew jeans, do you have any advice about sourcing denim and typical price points? Im very intrigued with sewing a pair of denim jeans, but I’m looking for harder denim and I’m finding the big name fabric stores especially JOANN only seem to have denim with a fake look to them & too much stretch. The style Im going for is high rise with minimal stretch and a little bit of leg room, like girlfriend/mom jeans. Im really struggling to find quality denim though and not sure what typical price points for denim should be. A point in the right direction will help from anyone who has come across good denim retailers or purchased denim that they really liked. Even if it was denim you used for something else like denim jackets, etc. will help. Thanks all! xx happy sewing :)

My favorite place to buy denim is [FashionFabricsClub.com](https://FashionFabricsClub.com). They have a great range of stretch and non-stretch denim, including selvage denim from Japan. I've made most of my jeans with denim I bought, and they're all doing great two years later with two to three wears a week. I tend to buy remnants from their Discount section, so most if not all of my jeans have cost less than $30 at most.
Are there any good fabric stores besides Joanns in Utah? My resources are suddenly so limited after Hancocks closed down. Or if you have a similar struggle and choose to shop online, what are good websites to find fabric?
Alexis D. replied:
I've mostly bought fabric online now that hancock is gone some sites I've liked is fashionfabricsclub.comfabric.comdharmatrading.com and fabricmartfabrics.com
Anyone know a good place to buy coat-weight wool? I'm trying to decide if I should make the Capaldi coat myself or buy a premade one from one of the numerous online sources. Thanks!
Heather M. replied:
I've had good luck with syfabrics.com and fashionfabricsclub.com. Fabric.com often has a really good sale on its coat-weight wools in January or February, as well.
Hi fellow prescottonians,
Im decorating my balcony and looking to invest in some good curtains. Preferably a heavier fabric than just your standard window curtain. Does anyone have any recommendations for stores that have fabrics for good reasonable prices? TIA :)

if all else fails, check out fashionfabricsclub.com. I've been buying from them for years. They have some great sales. I've been happy with everything I've received from them. I purchased a really nice, heavy, velvet print and purchased the Roclon blackout lining (they seem to only carry the Hanes blackout lining now and I really love the Roclon, total blackout and insulating, but I see it for sale on Amazon now) and for a very reasonable price, I was able to make a set of beautiful drapes that keep out the heat in summer and the cold in winter.
hi, i need some websites where i could buy fabrics -- mainly jerseys and other knits. i really only know of distinctivefabrics.com and the JoAnn's site, so are there any other good ones? thanks!

Looking for recommendations on where to buy cushion covers. The cushions are in good shape, but colors of existing cushion covers don't work with new decor.
