The Slow Readers Club are a Manchester based four piece who specialise in indie electro doom pop. In 2016 the band drew huge crowds at summer festival appearances including Tramlines, Kendal Calling, Victorious Festival (2 stages) and Ramsbottom Festival. In November 2106 they played 3 sold out headlines shows at o2 Ritz Manchester, Whelans Dublin and Oslo Hackney.
In May 2016, The Slow Readers Club supported James on the 'Girl at the End of the World' tour with dates 11 dates including London 02 Forum, Brixton Academy, and Manchester Arena.
Their singles have enjoyed airplay on BBC 6 Music and XFM (featured twice as XFMs shock of the new) the latest single ‘Plant The Seed’ has been playlisted on TXFM Dublin.
