  Is there any place to receive food in Raleigh my car is broke down and I am disabled on a fixed income. I don't know who to ask for help with food. I called the Food stamp office I applied for the snap program in July and they say my application is still pending, they told me to come in for a food bank referral but I have no way and its way to cold to walk if I could. I'm a lone after having a family and a husband he passed away my children are living in other states the ones here doesn't care for me. I have nothing left to give to them. Any suggestions will be appreciated

You will need to call them to find out what kinds of services they offer and how you can get the food to you. Interfaith Food Shuttle: 919.250.0043 Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC: 919-865-3037 Because I'm not sure where you are located, I am also going to include a link to a website listing all the food pantries in our area. Perhaps you can find a food pantry near you who would be able to help and deliver to you.
