I can't believe the lovely owner of this shop is not constantly full with queues out the door. We go a couple of times a week, (my son's "jam sandwich" treat.) I don't even know where to beging... Not only are the prices ridiculously reasonable, prices of cakes go down to 50p after 3 o clock.. as you can see from the picture these aren't just bog standard, multi pack cakes from the local supermarket. They are fresh and hand made every morning. The food is all super yummy. There is always that days paper out. It is very, very child and disability friendly. As a mum of a little boy with autism finding somewhere to go where I don't feel on edge and I don't have to worry about people staring or me having to go into a full on rant at someone as to why my son does the things he does and going into great detail as to what they can do with their gawping faces, it is gold dust. There is lots of toys and he can be at ease. He likes ordering his children's party plate which is just £2 and includes a sandwich, crisps, juice and a cake of his choice. Also the range of gluten/dairy free and vegetarian options is amazing! Sorry for going on and on but there is no one sentence that can recommend this place!
