The Saga continues..... Both the general contractor, and Servepro who have done the cleanup thus far have told the insurance company that to properly clean up the rest of the bat droppings is that the outside wall needs to come down. There is also bat poop (visible) inside the bricked area that they couldn't clean out because the cracks int he brick aren't big enough to get anything into to get out. The insurance company wants to just fill in with foam and "lock" it in there. Bad droppings are toxic and one of the main reasons why they put us in a hotel in the beginning. Its also a point of disclosure when I decide to sell the house, thus lowering the value of my home.
I no longer have a choice, I need a real estate attorney, does anyone know of any in metro area for some advice?
Thanks!
