Deserea I. wrote: This review is for Massage by Lora... Let me start off by saying that I should have turned around and walked right out the door as soon as I walked into the "massage room" It reeked of old, rancid massage oil and was defintely not clean. The sheets I was to lay on also reeked of rancid massage oil and they were clamy and had a funky greasy feel to them. There were essential oil bottles knocked over, random rags laying around and it did not seem very clean. Upon talking to Lora i realized right away that she is very unprofessional and crude. As she proceeded to rest her entire upper body on the massage table she started asking me questions pertaining to the form I had filled out. She then asked me if I had ever had my breasts fitted for a bra! I was not only shocked but totally embarrassed as I had on an ill fitting bra, because my other bras were in the wash. Lora then so gracioulsy informed me that she had to go "relieve herself" and she would be back shortly to start the session. 6 or 7 mins later she comes in the room and starts the massage. There was no music playing, but then after about 4 or 5 mins she took her phone from her bra, turned on music and placed the phone back in her bra. The phone went off several times, which in return turned the music off which was very annoying to say the least. Lora is also very heavy set , which is not something I ever care about but the room was so small that she could barely get around me without rubbing her entire lower half on me to get around the table. She also sat on a doctors swivel rolling chair the entire time. Now for the massage from HELL... The first 3 mins were ok, but then she started kneading my back with so much pressure trying to "get rid of my knots" that I could have literally jumped through the roof!!! I was in angonizing pain the entire 90 mins! I told her almost the entire hour and a half things like, ow, ow, ow that hurts, OMG that hurts, this is way too intense, I feel like I'm in labor, OMG, OMG etc. At one point she started laughing and apologized and said, "thats my evil laugh, I'm sorry but I have to get these knots out, I really don't mean to laugh" Everytime I yelled in pain, she would just tell me to breathe through it! I at one point told her to not be surprised if I involuntarily hit her. In no way have I ever endured so much pain, it was utter torture! Then to top everything off, she puts the sheets back over me after literally torturing me the entire time and says "thank you, your session is now over" I was like WHAT???!!!!! She did NOT touch my arms, hands, legs or feet the entire 90 mins! This happened just yesterday and I could barely sleep last night due to the pain and discomfort I was in. I have several bruises on my back and hips. I had to soak in epsom salts and was told by my chiropractor that what she did was not only unprofessional but awful. I was told to put ice on my back to relieve the inflammation. I just hope that my pain and discomfort goes away as I already have sciatica along with degenerating discs in my lower lumbar. I just pray she didn't make my issues worse. Please for the love of everything holy, stay away from this beast!!!!!Was this review helpful to you? -
