Does anyone know where to buy chickens from in Canberra? In the past we’ve bought from a farm in the Southern Highlands, but was hoping to find some locally this time.

If you are happy with ex-battery hens (they usually lay for several years after they are "discarded" by the industry), Little Oak Sanctuary might be able to help. https://www.littleoaksanctuary.org
Hi Canberra mums,
Is there any petting zoos around Canberra these school holidays?
Or the best activities for a 5 year old?
Thanks

Little Oak Sanctuary has an open day on Sunday- they take great care so the animals aren't harassed constantly like at conventional petting zoos, all the animals are rescued and it's lovely for kids to visit. http://www.littleoaksanctuary.org
Could anyone recommend somewhere in the south Canberra area where I can take my 2.5 year old daughter to see some horses/ponies and maybe feed them a carrot or two?
