About us
Lauren Tannehill grew up on the sunny beaches of Southern California. She has been surfing for over 16 years and has been painting ocean landscapes since she was a child. Lauren naturally gravitated to Hawaii where she attended college and began her connection to a spiritual journey. She loves spreading Aloha and positive vibes through her art and finds inspiration in bright, bold colors, family life, and surfing of course! As Lauren's life has progressed so has her art! Naturally creating birth art when she became pregnant with her first child at 23. Lauren had always made organic natural choices for herself and that didn't change when she decided to give birth at home. After a traumatic transfer to the hospital, she suffered the repercussions emotionally for years. It wasn't until four years later her second baby girl was born. Lauren went into her second home birth- humbled, strong and capable. It was the beautiful gentle water birth of her dreams! Lauren went on to have another daughter 2 years later also at home which was also peaceful and gentle. Lauren Tannehill has been a natural crunchy Mama since the beginning. It was't until she was pregnant with her third girl that she started selling her birth art and created a Worldwide sensation- 42 Positive and Empowering Affirmation Cards for Pregnancy and Labor. Once Banyan (number 3) was introduced, Lauren had very challenging time balancing three daughters in the crazy pace of life. Which in turn inspired her to create 52 Positive and Supportive Affirmation Cards for Mothering and Breastfeeding! It's time that all Mothers get the support they deserve! Since opening an online shop in early 2014, Lauren has received tremendous positive feedback inspiring her to expand her business globally.
