I've been shooting since 8th grade, when I found my dad's old nikon camera at the bottom of the closet. It was old and you had to crank it to advance the film. It was awesome. In 2005, when I graduated college, my dad gave me my first digital camera (a Nikon D70) and I've kept it up all these years.
Photography to me is catching a moment which is passing, and which is true. - Jacques-Henri Lartigue
It's marvellous, marvellous! Nothing will ever be as much fun. I'm going to photograph everything, everything!- Jacque-Henri Lartigue
I love taking pictures. I really love taking pictures at weddings. Lartigue talks about catching a passing moment and that's exactly what I do. I find moments that most don't even know exist and I freeze them. I stop time. I allow the moment to BE. Always.
We understandably want the ability to freeze time. Moments are always disappearing, evolving into the next. Photography allows us to preserve special moments that we cherish.
And each shoot is like a gift. I am privledged to be a part of such a special moments that my clients share with me. And I capture the moments they value the most.
