A year ago, I gave up my job as an interior designer with a mad idea to follow my passion and bake artisan bread for the local community. Ingredients are simple, and the best available. For most, that's just organic flour, water, salt and yeast – sometimes commercial yeast, sometimes sourdough and even fast-acting bi-carbonate for soda breads. Something for every taste.
Over the year, I've been learning my trade, refining recipes and getting to know my neighbours and customers selling at markets in my local area Surbiton, Kew Gardens and Whitton – and all working from home.
I am thrilled to have opened our new premises @ 52 Heath Road, Twickenham and am looking forward to having a place to experiment, create and bake. I hope to welcome you to my Artisan Bakery Lab where you can watch the whole process from mix to rise, from flouring to proving, and finally take home your bread of choice, fresh from the wood-fired oven.
