About us

Set up in historical building at the beginning of the fashionable Krymska street (named amongst favorite streets in 12 European cities, by the New York Times) facing the tram stop Krymska.

The building was once home to Vaclav Talich one of the most illustrious Czech conductors who acquired world wide fame. He was the head of Czech Philharmonic between 1919 and 1941 Talich was a bon vivant and socialite, he was fond of good food and fine drinks.

When we looked for inspiration for a name of our bistro, we only had to look at the signs. The connection was instant.

Our philosophy is simple. Make as much as we can in house, and buy best possible locally sourced ingredients for the food we make. We will start with pulled pork sandwiches, on home made buns. We also would like to provide delicious soups and hot pots. Both will be changed daily, so you will always have something new to look for.

We believe only the freshest and naturally grown ingredients, along with hard work and years of practice will ensemble perfect dish that you will grab on the go.
