This past year I started a small side business (but didn’t use a business account) and made a few investments into investment accounts on top of my regular salary. I think what I may need most help with is the small side business and accounting for those expenses to pay the least taxes possible. A good friend of mine recommended someone in flushing previously but lost the info. Can anyone please provide me with a reliable accountant that can maximize my refund? Thanks! * Edit: The business is a simple ticket resale business (purchase / resale) and I've accounted for these sales in excel but have used different bank accounts, and sometimes in my girlfriends name.

  http://www.psyllos.com/ is who i use. they are in Bayside, Queens. You can take the LIRR to the Bayside stop and walk a few blocks there. They do have you come in the following week to sign your taxes but they always get me a great refund, make suggestions on things I can write off and quick. I believe I paid like $150 or $175 last year for mine. I'll be heading over there in a few weeks to get mine done.
