  Hey Grace, here's the info for you right here http://www.hrfh.org/housing_discrimination.html Trust me, you can have your animal stay with you, and they can't ask for a deposit or anything unreasonable. It's discrimination and you can take them to court and most likely win. There are some "outs" and rights for the Landlords as well, so be sure to prepare your case before you let them know that you're staying and so is your animal.
