I am a wedding photographer that photographs creatively, without any reliance on filters, bulky lighting systems or being intrusive.
You’ll probably not even notice I was there.
Hello. I’m Carl and I’m a multi award winning wedding photographer, based in Sussex, UK, but shooting weddings right across the UK, Europe and beyond. I work with my assistant Natalie to shoot creatively – we specialise in telling stories, through pictures, of your wedding and I promise not to make you say cheese, not to direct your day or in fact be anything apart from someone you enjoy being there and taking some great photos.
The style of wedding photography I shoot is known as documentary wedding photography, or reportage wedding photography. It’s a cliché, I know, but I am passionate about photographing weddings authentically, without any interaction at all.
If your idea of “wedding hell” is the traditional bossy photographer and huge amounts of staged, boring group shots then I think I may have just the thing for you.

I’m also an obsessively passionate portrait photographer, whether for actor’s headshots, business profiles, Linkedin profiles, dating portfolios, theatre students and child actors or models (I’m CRB checked) just starting in the industry, entertainment and celebrities, musicians, singers, fitness, dancers, creatives and modelling portfolios. I have a mobile studio setup which I can bring to you, if you feel more comfortable shooting at home. . I aim to make my photoshoots light-hearted, creative, easy-going, productive – and tailored for you! We collaborate all the way through the photoshoot,
