  Looking for some suggestions on dog training. Obedience training and socialization. We rescued a dog three weeks ago. He’s very obedient but after being in a shelter for year… He needs some socialization for sure. He is amazing around people, kids and my cats, but seems to be on the more aggressive side with dogs (or at least we are interpreting his behavior that way.... though the shelter said he was amazing with other dogs). We are not looking for your run-of-the-mill Petsmart training. Suggestions are much appreciated.

  Our Vet recommended What a Good Dog! in Villanova. They specialize in Pits. Unlike some trainers, they work well with the Pits and are not afraid of them. There were many other breeds in the classes we attended. The trainers not only trained our guy, but taught others in the class to better understand the Pits. They were awesome! 610-296-9243

  I don't have any direct experience with their boarding facilities, but when I first adopted Oliver, we took several classes at What a Good Dog!
