  I just searched for months for a good place. Here's what I found: many of the nicer apartment complexes are owned by www.greystar.com and you can search through their website to find what you want. I also found this dude Donald Bryn from Dwell Well Realty... He showed us three apartments that were siiiiiick and reasonably priced. We ended up finding a place through an owner but if I look for a place again in San Diego I'll check with him to see his inventory.
