  Hello! I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions of good places to rent from in Charleston (apartments or people renting out their homes/condos, etc) (must be a pet friendly place). I am moving from Wisconsin and it is difficult to figure out what areas/apartments are "safe" just by looking online. I figured this was a good community of people to ask, thank you in advance for any advice! :)

  Renting in Charleston is actually the hardest place I've ever tried to rent especially with pets. I moved last year and I'm currently in a house that I found for rental through a realtor but I'm always looking for something cheaper. The best deal I've found is Castlewood Townhouses in west ashley. Nearly all places have a 2 pet limit and weight and breed restrictions. Rentcharleston.com has a lot but you have to see the unit in person before applying. Southern Shores Property Group is nice. I don't rent with them currently but they have been helpful. Good luck!
