  Anyone can help me with a recommendation? My water heater just went out tonight and I had a rooter plumber over and he said it would be $1500 for a new water heater. Anyone know a plumber who can do it for much less then this? I have heard this is a pretty high quote.

  Sherwood Plumbing supplied and installed a 50 gallon gas hot water heater at my house last week. The $950 he charged included disposal of the old hot water heater, and he came and did the work same day we called. That price also paid the permit, and the guy did everything, we didn't have to do anything except open the garage door for them and write a check. 503 349 5429
