Does anybody have any recommendations on good reads or sources of information on sports psychology?
In the past year, I've started dealing with some serious anxiety surrounding hiking/physical activity, sometimes even resulting in vertigo (with increasing frequency). I never have been and don't expect myself to be a completely fearless daredevil, but the increasing anxiety has really gotten in the way of adventures that I should be able to enjoy and it has gone as far as preventing me from being able to complete hikes because of minimally technical parts that I would have easily been able to cross in the past.
I'm tired of my brain getting in the way of awesome adventures and I want to be able to enjoy amazing things the outdoors have to offer that I know my body is capable of. Time to tackle this and figure it out!
