any chinese american in north new jersey? what are your favorite restaurants?
im pakistani amerian and have been going pretty crazy trying particularly Chinese and thai food particularly. (Vietnamese with their rice noodles just doesn't feel as filling and as healthy altho others love it)
My favorites are just straight up stir fried greens like snowpea shoots and xinjiant style lamb+cumin hand pulled noodles
I feel like it's the only cuisine outside of South Asia that has a wide vegetable variety
**My question is where can I find the following items to try in a restaurant in NJ preferably but maybe manhattan or queens**
steamed fish
fresh abaglone
fresh sea urchin
king crab
steamed egg
vegetarian breakfast
Can't really eat pork, so that puts out a lot of dumpings and wontonfor me, but would love to know if there's a place that does them without pork

Xian Famous Foods in Manhattan is a pretty good place for lamb-based Northern Chinese cooking. There's one practically every 10 blocks between Chinatown and Midtown. Website: r/https://www.xianfoods.com/ I haven't lived in New Jersey in many years, but Edison was always a solid hub for Asian food. Check out Yelp, you can probably find some places.
Hello! We're in NYC right now and while I know this group is directed at Seattle, would appreciate any NYC not-to-be-missed-restaurant suggestions. Thanks
Hey NY anyone knows the address of that restaurant where they sell those awesome super cheap dumplings in Chinatown that is always packed and teh women working there are mean?
